Flexee Pay
The payment and pocket-money management app for 12-25 year-olds and their parents: digital payment, savings, expense tracking.
Our story
Flexee Pay was born from a simple observation: young people grow up with a smartphone in their pocket, but without a tool built to help them learn to manage their money. We're building that tool - and the education that goes with it.
It all began between 2022 and 2024, well before the idea itself. Mohamed Badri, a father, went through the same situations as thousands of Tunisian parents: pocket money handed out in cash, hard to track, poorly understood, sometimes lost or spent without much thought. With his daughter Linda, then 15 years old, the same question kept coming back: how to better manage that money, understand its value, learn to save? They looked for an existing solution - a card, an app, a tool designed for young Tunisians - and found none that truly met the need.
Out of these recurring conversations came a shared conviction: if the solution didn't exist, they would build it themselves. What started as a family reflection between a father and his daughter became, in 2025, the starting point of an entrepreneurial adventure born as a duo: Flexee Pay, a digital solution to help young people - and their parents - pay, manage their money and learn to become progressively independent. A need that, beyond their own family, concerns more than 2.5 million young people aged 12 to 25 in Tunisia today.
To turn the idea into a product, Louay Sejine joined the adventure to help prepare the MVP and support the Startup Act label application. Today CTO of Flexee Pay, he designs and continuously evolves the ecosystem's technical platform - from the payment app to Flexoo, the AI coach.
Rather than theoretical explanations, Flexee Pay is built on learning by doing: every payment and every savings goal becomes a concrete opportunity to better understand money. Compared to cash or classic youth cards, a fully digital, simple and secure solution allows real-time tracking, personalized goals and an ongoing dialogue between parents and children - carried by a team united around one conviction: giving young people practical tools for their financial independence.
Several experiences around pocket money, manual tracking, experiments, multiple solutions tried, hours of father-daughter conversations between Mohamed and Linda, and the gradual realization that no existing solution truly met the needs of young Tunisians.
